About
I believe in
builders.
Not in consultants who leave you with a report. Not in advisors who've never shipped anything. In people who get their hands dirty and build systems that actually work.

How it started
Inside the mess,
not advising from outside.
Most of my career has been spent inside founder-led businesses. Not advising from the outside, but embedded in the work. Building the infrastructure that lets good businesses run without their founders holding everything together.
I've watched brilliant founders burn out. Not because they lacked talent or drive, but because every decision ran through them. Every process lived in their head. Every week was spent reacting instead of leading.
How it's going
Now I build systems
that set founders free.
Today, I work with a small number of founder-led businesses at a time. Deep work, not surface-level consulting. I stay until the systems are running without me.
The pattern is always the same: the business that was supposed to create freedom becomes a prison of their own making. I help reverse that.
I'm a builder,
not a consultant.
Consultants
- Deliver a report and walk away
- Apply generic frameworks
- Advise from the outside
- Bill for recommendations
Builders
- Deliver working systems
- Design for how you actually work
- Embed inside the business
- Stay until it works
Why I Do This
Where the problem is most acute and most solvable.
Enterprise companies have armies of process consultants and change management specialists. They move slowly and that's often fine.
Founder-led businesses, the ones doing £500K to £5M with 2-30 people, are falling through the cracks.
Too big for duct-tape systems, too small for enterprise solutions. Past survival, into exhaustion.
These are the businesses where a few weeks of focused work creates years of relief.
The Discipline
The SIGNAL discipline
A sequence that keeps us from making things worse before they get better.
Survey
Map the reality, not the org chart. Find where work actually happens.
Improve
Fix the process before touching technology. Simplify first.
Generate
Create documentation that captures decisions, not just steps.
Nexus
Connect the pieces so they actually work together.
Automate
Only now do we bring in technology, and it helps instead of hurting.
Leverage
Scale what works. Grow capacity, not headcount.
This sequence matters because automation applied to a broken process just creates faster chaos. You have to earn the right to automate.
How I Work
Small number of engagements.
Deep work requires focus.
I can't build systems for your business if I'm spread across a dozen clients. Every engagement starts with a conversation.
If there's a fit, we build together. If there isn't, I'll tell you what I see and point you in a useful direction.
Start with a
conversation.
We'll look at where you are and whether I can help. If there isn't a fit, I'll tell you honestly.
